Something new for me! Loved shooting Mr. C with his board! He is a very pateint young man. He was very kind to me since I had no idea what the "cool part" of the trick was, lol! But, we worked together and got some awesome shots! He is decorating his room with these for Christmas....AWESOME!

Beautiful! I love this time of year! Last week I grabbed my camera and went looking for new places to photograph my clients. I had heard of "Falling Waters" in Ellijay and decided to find it. I was amazed at the beauty! Here are some photos I took!

Cross-Country 2010

This is my second year shooting our local middle schools Cross-Country team. I always have a good time with this bunch! They are very energetic! They listen very well to instruction making my job easier! Thank you guys! See you next year.

Just got married!

They just got married! Congratulations! Loved working with this couple. We had a lot of fun wandering around Prater's Mill. It was neat for me to shoot this couple. I work with his mom for 7 years when I was young at the local hospital in Chatsworth. And, her sister has been a client of mine for over a year. Thank you guys for allowing me to be apart of your special day!

WOW! Can you say photogenic? I was amazed at how this mom & daughter looked through my camera. We went to an area that I have visited one time before with another client, but I saw it in such a different light that all the photos are not even close to the vision I had before. Mom is a firefighter and we did some shots at her station! Which she rocked! Thank you guys for letting me shoot you! Some Changes Coming

I have decided to change things up a bit. I have been trying to find the perfect website template and haven't really been satisfied with any that I have had. However, I think that is about to change! I have a found one that I like a lot and hope to fall in love with. And, hope you will as well. I will continue to have my blog, so during this transition you can always come here if you have any questions.

SOME IMMEDIATE CHANGES
I will no longer be proofing on-line. I will be proofing in person with 5x7 prints. Every computer monitor looks different in color. So, you may not be seeing the same beautiful photo of your family as I am because of the monitor. Proofing in person will eliminate this. It will also give you the chance to see your entire collection all at once. You can see exactly what you will be getting. And, also be able to play around with grouping them for your own personal wall art.

I will also be adding some new Collections and some Goodie Items for your choosing under my Investment tab. I will have some minor price changes, but nothing major. Please remember, if you have completely booked your session, by paying your session fee, then you are grandfathered into the prices you were quoted.

The Season Ends

The middle school football season has came to a end here in Ellijay. I am always so ready for football to start ever year! Both my boys play, and I love to watch and support the team! However, I am always ready to go back to normal by the end of the season. The boys of CCMS played hard this year, and I am very proud of each and evey one of them! The 8th graders will be moving on up to highschool next year, and I can't wait to see them take what they have learned from Coach Barnes, Davis and McDaniel and set that highschool field a flame! GO BOYS!!! Love you guys!

To Grandma's House We Go...

This weekend we will be going down to my moms house. We started having a family get-together once a month in June of this year, and this month is moms time to host. I am so thankful that we get the chance to do this. As a child, I remember spending a lot of time with my family. These days are so hectic that it makes it hard to do so. But, I desire my boys to have those memories of playing with their cousins and going on adventures with them! And, of course my Canon is part of the family:0)

I had so much fun walking around downtown Chatsworth with Ms. Leah and her mommy, Amanda. We played on a train, conqured the train tracks, and got to sneak in and see where the county stores the Christmas lights!

Cheer On The Cheer

Elizabeth is my little niece. She is six years old and has decided she will be a cheerleader! This past Saturday was he first time cheering, and of course, I had to go and cheer her on!

She did great even though it was sooooo HOT outside! I loved their half-time show, and was very impressed to see it was age appropriate! Good job coach! Can't wait to see your next game Elizabeth:0)

April & Jeremi: Wedding 2010

This was a beautiful wedding. It was my honor to be a part of it. Things went so smoothly during he day. April is the most beautiful bride I have ever seen. I heard many whisper that she looked like a live Barbie doll. I would have to agree. The whole wedding party was gorgeous. Jeremi looked dashingly handsome in his white tux and seafoam green tie!

I had so much fun with this family. This is Sarah a 2010 senior. Her mom came along for the shoot and her dad popped in and out always bringing something fun for us to incorporate into the shoot. We shot on a fire truck that Sarah has played on since she was five, amongst MANY other things and places. Thanks you guys! I had a blast!

OMGOSH....It was so humid the day we did these photos. We were all soaked. I couldn't ware my glasses because they fogged up so bad after every shot! I put them on the top of my head to shoot. I went to slide them back down and the were soaked! I am not sure that I ever remember a day so icky!

This family is super sweet! Baby Maddie is beautiful and so are her parents. They bought thier little dog to the shoot and I think he stole my heart. So, cute! He fits in your hand and his fur was so soft! Look foward to more of them. We will continue the shoot in about a week:)

Your Session

The Session:

Sessions are all done on location whether it be at your home or outside. You can choose a place of meaning or I can suggest a place that would suit your needs. Sessions usually last anywhere between 1 and 3 hours. Make sure to bring several outfits. Bring things that are unique to you!

I like to have fun with my sessions. So, relax. You don’t have to sit under harsh lights and try to hold your kids down long enough to get a fake (cheese) smile! They can run and play, if they need a break, a snack; they can take one.

I am a goofball. I lose my head sometimes, but I have a blast with my clients!!!
